摘  要:西瓜适当的矮化种植有助于提高产量,同时更加节省劳动力,适应于轻简化机械化栽培。为了促进短蔓西瓜遗传育种研究,从短蔓西瓜突变体的发现和分类、短蔓基因定位与克隆、短蔓西瓜育种等方面对西瓜遗传育种的历史和现状进行梳理和阐述,提出了短蔓突变体种类较少、分子机理研究较欠缺和短蔓品种的选育力度不够等问题,指出短蔓分子机理的研究是未来研究重点和选育高抗、广适短蔓品种是未来育种的方向。Proper dwarf planting of watermelon could help to improve the yield, save labor force and adapt to light and simplified mechanized cultivation. In order to promote the research on genetic breeding of dwarf vine watermelon, the history and current situation of watermelon genetic breeding were reviewed and expounded from the aspects of the discovery and classification of dwarf vine watermelon mutants, the location and cloning of dwarf vine genes and the breeding of dwarf vine watermelon. The problems such as fewer cultivars of dwarf vine mutants, lack of molecular mechanism research and insufficient breeding efforts of dwarf vine cultivars were put forward. It was pointed out that the research on the molecular mechanism of dwarf vine was the focus of research, and the breeding of high resistance and wide adaptability dwarf vine cultivars was the direction of future breeding.
