摘 要:浪漫主义文学研究中一直存在着一个值得深究、常被问起的问题,那就是为什么浪漫主义的文学革命和乌托邦政治总是与审美颓废主义相联系?这个问题不仅从西方研究文献中能够找到答案,而且在中国现代文学最具有影响力的文学团体之一“创造社”的思想中也能够找到答案。以郭沫若等为代表的“从文学革命到革命文学”的转向以及以王独清为代表的“从浪漫到颓废”的转向,与西方现代性研究专家卡林内斯库对浪漫主义的发展路线的定位基本一致。在这个框架内,由英国第二代浪漫派诗人构成的“马洛团体”所体现出的浪漫激情、革命冲动以及耽于肉欲的颓废主义等复杂面相可以得到充分的解释。An intriguing question or a long-time puzzle in the field of romanticism studies has been:why was the romantic literatures'political radicalism,both East and West,invariably intertwined with aesthetic decadence?This question,though much debated among romanticism scholars,is however answerable from the thought and practice of the modern Chinese"Creationist"poets and the theoretical enquiry of Western scholars concerning the relationship between romanticism and modernity.The Creationists,spearheaded by their spokesmen Guo Moruo and Wang Duqing,underwent two ideological turns:one"from revolution of literature to literature of revolution";the other"from romanticism to decadence".The two"turns"coincide with the general trend of development in European Romanticism as discussed by Matei Calinescu.Within this historicaltheoretical framework,the Marlow Group's Janus-faces-romantic passion,revolutionary zeal,plus erotic decadence-can be explained and deciphered.
