亨利·詹姆斯的“自然理念”和“女性关怀”探究--以《华盛顿广场》为例

摘　　要：20世纪70年代中后期,国外学者对詹姆斯作品的研究融入了大量文学研究的新理论和新方法,而国内学者的研究焦点在叙事策略的分析和主题阐释方面。运用生态女性主义的相关理论对詹姆斯的《华盛顿广场》进行解读后发现,作者揭示了资本主义工业发展对自然环境的破坏以及父权制社会对女性的压迫。小说中的“自然意识”与“女性关怀”凸显了詹姆斯的生态女性主义意识,启示人类应重视人与自然的关系,在追求物质利益的同时,要重视对自然环境的治理。In the mid-and-late 1970s,foreign scholars integrated some new theories and methods of literary research into the study on James’s works,while domestic scholars focused on analysis on narrative strategies and thematic interpretation.This paper applies relevant eco-feminism theories to interpret James’s Washington Square,and the result shows that the author reveals the destruction of the natural environment by capitalist industrial development and the oppression of women by a patriarchal society.The“natural consciousness”and“women care”in the novel highlight James’s eco-feminist consciousness,which enlightens human beings to pay attention to the relationship between man and nature,and to pay attention to the governance of the natural environment while pursuing material interests.
