析“安石不肯出,将如苍生何!”

摘　　要：高崧曾“戏言”:“安石不肯出,将如苍生何!”对此言,学界解释颇多,至今仍存较大争议。这大致可分为三类观点:第一,解释为“谢安不肯出山,那么天下的百姓该怎么办”,这是将“苍生”一词解释为了“平民”;第二,解释为“谢安不肯出山,那么天下的士族该怎么办”,这是将“苍生”一词解释为了“贵族”;第三,解释为“谢安不肯出山,那么天下的平民和贵族该怎么办”,这是将“苍生”一词的含义扩大为“平民和贵族”两个主体。在爬梳史料后可知,谢安是兼有家国情怀和家族观念之人,因而此语中的“苍生”一词当以“平民和贵族”之义为宜,此语的解释当从第三类观点。In the academic circle, there are many interpretations to Gao Song’s so-called joke — “If Anshi refused to come out, what would people do”,and there still exist disagreements up to now. The disagreements can be roughly divided into three types: First, it is interpreted as “If Xie An refused to come out, what would the people do”,in which the word “cangsheng” is interpreted as “common people”;Second, it is interpreted as “If Xie An refused to come out, what should the aristocrats do”,in whichthe word “cangsheng” is interpreted as “nobles”;Third, it is interpreted as “If Xie An refused to come out, what would the civilians and nobles do”,in which the word “cangsheng”refers toboth the common people and the nobles. After reviewing the historical materials, it can be seen that Xie An is a person who has both family and country feelings and family ideas. Therefore, the word “cangsheng” here should refer to “the common people and the nobles”.
