元代礼部尚书任职考略  

On the Appointment of the Minister of Rites in the Yuan Dynasty

摘  要:礼部尚书是元代重要中央职官,其职能与地位与前代无大差异。就民族构成而言,元代礼部尚书整体以汉人为主体,其次是蒙古人和色目人,南人最少;就入仕途径而言,荐举和科举成为礼部尚书入仕的主要途径。元前期以荐举入仕为主,元中期荐举和科举并重,元后期以科举入仕为主。半数左右的礼部尚书有中央和地方机构任职经历,熟悉行政运作。同时,礼部尚书一职亦有较好的仕途发展空间,超过四分之三的礼部尚书官至从二品及以上官职。元代礼部尚书在族属、入仕途径、职官迁转诸方面皆表现出较强的民族性,蒙古人、色目人、汉人和南人共同构成的礼部尚书群体为元代统一多民族国家礼制的完善发挥了重要作用。The Minister of rites was an important central official in the Yuan Dynasty, its function and status almost previous generations. In terms of Han people are the main body of the Shang Shu of the Ministry of rites, followed by the Mongols and Semu people, southerners are the least;Recommendation and imperial examination have become the main ways of entering the official position. In the early Yuan Dynasty, it was recommended, in the middle, it was imperial examination, in the late, it was recommended and imperial examination.A half ministers of rites have working experience in central and local institutions and are familiar with administrative operation.There is a good space for Minister of rites.The multi-ethnic Shangshu group of the Ministry of rites played an important role in the improvement of the ritual system of the unified multi-ethnic country in the Yuan Dynasty.
