《北大王墓志铭》所见若干契丹大字考释

摘　　要：本文通过对比契丹大、小字组合字,列举其可能存在的对应形式,利用已知大、小字对应关系,推断未知的对应关系的方法,对《北大王墓志铭》所见若干大字进行拟音、释义。提出大字与小字相对应,读?ɑ-t;大字■相当于小字■,义为“诸可汗”;大字■相当于小字■和■,读?-ru或?-ud;大字■相当于小字■和■(n-?-ru-i或n-?-ud-i),表示“部(之)”;大字■(u-ul-?n)表示“乌古之”。Comparing Khitan large and small scripts at the compound word level and listing out their possible forms of equivalence and using the method of inferring unknown corresponding relation based on the already-known ones,the study reconstructs the pronunciation and explains the meaning of some Khitan large scripts seen in the Epitaph of the Grand Prince of the North and proposes some personal views as follows:Khitan large script■equals the Khitan small script■,pronounced as?ɑ-t;■equals■,denoting the plural form of khan;■equals■,pronounced as?-ru or?-ud;■is equivalent to■(n-?-ru-i or n-?-ud-i),denoting possessive form of tribe;and■(u-ul-?n)means of wugu(tribal name).
