摘　　要：作为中国话剧的拓荒者和奠基人之一,熊佛西和欧阳予倩、田汉、洪深一样,都称得上是戏剧全才,能编能导能演,还是戏剧运动的组织者和领导人。熊佛西对中国话剧的诞生和发展的独特贡献则体现在:他是中国话剧史上最早出版个人话剧作品集的剧作家,是中国话剧开创期著名的讽刺喜剧作家,是自觉且系统致力于中国现代戏剧理论探索的前驱,是中国现代从事农民戏剧运动的第一人和终身献身戏剧教育事业的先行者。他和欧阳予倩、田汉、洪深一样无愧于“中国话剧的拓荒者和奠基人”的称号。As one of the pioneers and founders of Chinese drama, Xiong Foxi was an all versatile theatrical artist just like Ouyang Yuqian, Tian Han and Hong Shen. He was not only good at scripting, directing and acting, but also served as an excellent organizer in Chinese theatrical movement, making remarkable contribution to the birth and development of Chinese drama. He was the first Chinese playwright to have published a collection of plays and a master of satirical comedies. He strived to establish modern Chinese drama theory and as a pioneer with lifelong dedication to drama education, he has created the peasants’ drama in modern China. Like Ouyang Yuqian, Tian Han, and Hong Shen, he deserves the title of “the pioneer and founder of Chinese drama”.
