中国最早的体育期刊《中日体育杂志》考证

摘　　要：过去学界一般认为在中国最早创办的体育期刊是中国近代体育教育家徐一冰和王均卿于1909年4月20日在上海创办的《体育界》。而考证发现,《中日体育杂志》是中国最早的体育期刊,其依据是:《中日体育杂志》于1873年5月3日创刊于上海;《中日体育杂志》是按月定期出版的月刊性质的体育期刊。《中日体育杂志》在中国体育期刊史上具有里程碑意义,开创了中国体育报刊的历史,对近代西方体育在中国的传播、特别是中国近代体育报刊的发展都产生了一定的影响。In the past, the academia generally believed that the earliest sports magazine in China is Tiyujie which was founded by Chinese modern sports educators Xu Yibing and Wang Junqing in Shanghai on April 20,1909. This paper holds that the China and Japan Sporting Magazine is the earliest sports magazine in China. The basis is as follows: Firstly, the China and Japan Sporting Magazine was founded in Shanghai on May 3, 1873. Secondly, the China and Japan Sporting Magazine was a monthly sports magazine. This paper argues that the China and Japan Sporting Magazine is a milestone in the history of Chinese sports periodicals. It created a historical precedent for Chinese sports newspapers and magazines. It had a profound influence on the spread of modern western sports in China, especially on the development of modern Chinese sports newspapers and periodicals.
