英语专业大学新生语音意识发展与听力理解的关系研究——以一所部属外语特色高校学生为个案

摘  要:本研究以某部属外语特色高校大一新生为研究对象,探究他们的语音意识和听力理解的关系。他们的总体语音意识属于较高水平,语音意识三个层面的发展情况依次为:音节意识最好,其次是首韵意识,排位最后的是音位意识。研究结果发现音位意识与听力理解有较高相关性;音节意识、首韵意识、音位意识作为一个整体与因变量听力理解之间具有显著的线性相关关系。本研究中语音意识与听力测试中的单词填空存有显著相关性,此结果再一次论证了语音意识对拼读能力的发展、词语短时记忆能力的提高等具有重要作用。最后,针对较好语言能力的大学生群体,在听力教学过程中,要特别关注音位意识教学,可以通过音标复习、音位分离、音位分割、音位组合、音位删除、音位替代等练习夯实语言基本功。This study is an empirical study on the relationship between the development of phonological awareness and listening comprehension of freshmen in English majors.It is different from previous studies.The participants have good language skills.Their overall phonological awareness belongs to a relatively high level.In order of development,syllable consciousness is the best,followed by onset-rime awareness,and phonemic consciousness is the last.Phonetic awareness,especially phoneme awareness,has a high correlation with listening comprehension.Syllable awareness,onset-rime awareness,and phoneme awareness as a whole have significant linear correlations with dependent variable listening comprehension.In this study,there is a significant correlation between phonological awareness and spot dictation in the listening test.This result once again demonstrates that phonological awareness plays an important role in the development of spelling ability and the ability of short-term memory of words.Research suggests that the improvement of phoneme awareness can be one of the listening learning goals for freshmen with a good foundation.
