摘　　要：在对北京老城院落更新案例进行广泛实地调研的基础上,文章将其空间挖掘方法归纳为“空间量的拓展”“空间质的转换”“空间品质的提升”等三种,详细讨论了每种方法的适用情境,并进一步分析了其在延续传统文化、继承传统建筑意向和生活理念等方面的内在价值,为北京老城院落更新提供了借鉴。Based on the extensive field investigation of the old city courtyard renewal cases in Beijing, this paper summarizes the space mining methods into three types : "the expansion of space quantity ", "the transformation of space property " and " the improvement of space quality ". The application situation of each method is discussed in detail, and its intrinsic value in inheriting traditional culture, succeeding traditional architectural image and life concept is further analyzed, which provides reference for the renewal of old city courtyards in Beijing.
