摘　　要：目前的嵌入式 L inux版本还不是一套非常简洁的系统 ,如何优化系统至使适合嵌入式应用成为最主要的目标 ,因此介绍了 L inux嵌入式操作系统 ,讨论了如何对内核 (kernel)、守护程序 (daemons)、程序库(libraries)和应用和工具程序 (applications/ utilities)等 4个主要部分进行缩减 。At present, the Embedded Linux is not a very compact system. So how to optimize the system and make it applicable becomes a chief task for computer experts. Therefore, in this paper the Embedded Linux is introduced and the methods to optimize the four main parts: kernel and daemons and libraries and applications/utilities are discussed. And the actuality and development of Embedded Linux is also briefly introduced.
