摘 要:作为塞内加尔的“国民作家”与“非洲电影之父”,乌斯曼·桑贝内将电影视作克服文字障碍的民众教育工具,由文及影,在文学和电影两大领域均成就斐然。他的小说和电影多以个人经验与现实事件为锚点,为人民创作,使人民恢复应有的尊严。为推动女性意识觉醒,他记录非洲女性积极参与社会斗争的历史,为女性反抗性别压迫和实现自我解放创造可能。因毕生致力于挖掘非洲本土叙事,桑贝内成为在中国译介数量最多的非洲法语作家,其在非洲影坛掀起的文学改编风潮也影响至今。Known as Senegal’s “national writer” and the “father of African cinema”, Ousmane Sembène saw cinema as a tool for educating people and overcoming the barriers of words. He turned from literature to film, and made great achievements in both. His novels and films are mostly based on his personal experiences and social events of the time to create for the people and restore their due dignity. In order to promote the awakening of female consciousness, he recorded the history of African women’s active participation in social struggle, creating possibilities for women to resist gender oppression and achieve self-emancipation. Due to his lifelong commitment to the exploration of African native narrative, Sembène has become the most translated Frenchspeaking African writer in China, and the trend of adapting literature to film that he has set off in the African film industry has influenced so far.
