摘　　要：大学篮球的发展在现代美国社会产生了很大的影响。美国大学篮球起初只是开展于白人大学生之间的一项“小众”运动项目,随着大学校园中的黑人篮球运动员广泛与积极地参与这项运动之后,美国大学篮球的整体水平得到了提升。在民权运动期间,大学篮球对种族隔离产生了强烈的冲击作用。在随之而来的大学篮球进一步发展的过程中,篮球场上发生了明显的肤色转换,种族隔离在美国大学校园的篮球场上基本解体。The development of college basketball in United States has had great influence upon contemporary America. It promoted the significant civil rights movement in the middle and late 20th century and left deep marks on the historical course of the development of contemporary American society.College basketball originally was a white men’s minor sport. Under the influence of the civil rights movement,it led to a transition of skin colors on the basketball court. At the same time,constant improvement in racial equality helped develop the civil rights movement into a more comprehensive and deeper stage and led to the decline of racial segregation on basketball courts in the 1980s.
