摘　　要：近代中国海关作为一支重要力量,几乎贯穿整个中国近代史,从另一个侧面见证了中国近代社会的变迁。在此历史进程中,海关形成了庞大的档案文献,对促进地方社会史研究有着不可估量的价值。江汉关作为近代中国四大海关之一,在近90年中形成了数量庞大、涉及面广、复杂多样、种类繁多、连续性强的具有巨大学术价值的档案资料,是研究近代湖北地方商业、交通、政治、外交等的重要史料。As an important force,modern Chinese customs almost ran through the whole modern history of China and witnessed the changes of modern Chinese society from a special point of view.In this historical process,customs accumulated a huge number of archival documents,which are of inestimable value to promote the study of local social history.Hankow Customs,as one of the four major customs in modern China,has accumulated in recent 90 years a large number of archival materials with great academic value,which are large in number,extensive in scope,complex and diverse in variety,and prominent in continuity,and are important historical materials for the study of local commerce,transportation,politics and diplomacy in modern Hubei province.
