摘　　要：爱尔兰诗人谢默斯·希尼从创作伊始就受到美国诗人罗伯特·弗洛斯特的影响。首先是弗洛斯特给了希尼真实地描写自己身边普通乡村生活的勇气和平实精准的语言,并让希尼学会了将戏剧性与日常性相结合的方法;其次弗洛斯特对他称为“意义的声音”的自然韵律的强调,使希尼认识到打破格律规则的看似简单平易的诗歌所具有的现代性,并区分了技艺的诗歌和技巧的诗歌;此外,弗洛斯特复杂和多义的诗歌风格和内涵也在希尼的诗歌中得到更深刻的体现。通过希尼对弗洛斯特的论述来梳理弗洛斯特对希尼的影响,不仅可以看到弗洛斯特对希尼的塑造,也可以看到希尼对弗罗斯特的再塑造。American poet Robert Frost has influenced Irish poet Seamus Heaney from the very beginning.First,Frost encouraged Heaney to represent the common country life around him realistically with an easy but precise vernacular,and taught him to combine the dramatic with the ordinary.Second,Frost emphasizes the natural rhythm,which he called“the sound of sense,”which helps Heaney to understand the modernity of the seemingly simple poems that break the rules of the classical poetry.It also inspires Heaney to distinguish between the crafts of poetry and the techniques of poetry.Third,Heaney learned from Frost the complexity and ambiguity of styles and meanings and adapted in his poems more profoundly.To sort out the influence of Frost on Heaney in Heaney’s discussion of Frost,we can see not only the shaping of Heaney by Frost,but also the re-shaping of Frost by Heaney.
