摘　　要：磨盘村山城又名城子山山城,位于吉林省延边朝鲜族自治州图们市长安镇磨盘村南约2公里处,西距延吉市区不足5公里,遗址东、南、北三面被布尔哈通河环抱,海兰河在遗址东南侧汇入布尔哈通河。城址中心地理坐标为北纬42°54′59.3″、东经129°36′59.9″,海拔256米(图一)。该遗址最早发现于20世纪40年代,1961年被列为吉林省第一批重点文物保护单位,2006年被国务院公布为第六批全国重点文物保护单位。Survey and excavation of the hill-top city site at Mopan Village,Tumen City,Jilin Province conducted by the Jilin Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and the Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefectural Center for the Conservation of Cultural Relics in 2019 uncovered various features including city walls,houses,midden pits,courtyard walls,and drainage canals,along with unearthed artifacts such as architectural components,objects made of pottery,porcelain,and iron,as well as bronze stamps and coins.Characteristics of unearthed artifacts from the eastern section indicate that the late phase remains of the hill-top city site at Mopan presumably date to the Eastern Xia kingdom period when the site was used as the southern capital of the kingdom.Survey and excavation of the hill-top city site at Mopan provides crucial data for preliminarily establishing the cultural formation processes of the city site including construction,occupation,abandonment,and secondary occupation.Thus,the site is of great academic value for the study of the Eastern Xia kingdom and the formation and development of the Chinese unitary multinational state.
