Objective:To investigate the development track of college students’online compulsive buying and its relationship with childhood abuse. Methods:A total of 798 college students were followed up four times for four years with college students’Online Compulsive Purchase Questionnaire and Childhood Trauma Questionnaire-28 item Short Form.Results:①There were three potential subgroups in the development track of college students’online compulsive purchase.Among them, the initial level of low compulsion risk group was low and gradually increased with time, the initial level of low compulsion stability group was low and remained stable with time, and the initial level of high compulsion deterioration group was high and further deteriorated with time;②Childhood abuse could increase the initial level of online compulsive purchase in three potential subgroups, and could also positively predict the development speed of low compulsion risk group and high compulsion deterioration group. Conclusion:The development track of college students’online compulsive buying has group level heterogeneity, and childhood abuse can predict its development.
