摘　　要：这份由339件蜡筒回放并转制为21张数字化CD的“中国最初的”历史录音,连同“唱词册”“物件与历史照片册”“信件册”“总览册”的集成,却并非“他者”远观的“故事”;虽然它们录制于“他者”之手,但又是在一个确切的时空里,实实在在记录下来的“中国声音”。因此,面对“劳弗特藏”,我们无法主观选择,只能竖起聆听的耳朵,以“物”为准,援“物”溯源,怀揣失而复得的心理,听尘封的历史自己诉说。The Berthold Laufer Collection is the“oldest”historical recordings of Chinese music consisting of339wax cylinders which are converted into 21digitized CDs,together with“Song Books”,“Objects and Historical Photographs”,“Letters”and an“overview”.It was not a“story”written by the“other”,although they were recorded by the“other”in a precise time and space.Therefore,the best way to examine this collection is to open the ear,listen and trace their origins.Let it unlock the history itself.
