摘 要:Dear Editor,The population density of organisms often varies widely among species in natural environments, and this variation is associated with body size and energy requirements(White et al., 2007). For example, large-bodied species usually require large areas to meet energetic requirements, which can provide species with more food abundance and lower population density. An earlier study has proposed that the energetic requirements are also related to brain size in animals(Mink et al., 1981).
