产业链数字化协同与外部冲击缓解:来自居民生活缴费的证据

摘　　要：近年来,数字技术迅速发展,企业纷纷投身数字化转型以响应数字经济时代下的新模式、新需求。特别是2020年初新冠疫情爆发,触发了“非接触”数字服务的新需求,数字化的重要性得到我国社会各界的关注。然而,现有文献关于数字化对组织绩效的影响,尚未得到一致结论。这可能与现有文献未对组织其他利益攸关主体纳入考量有关。基于组织共生理论,利用2019年以及2020年省级层面日度的居民生活缴费交易数据,探讨了产业链数字化协同对疫情冲击的缓解作用,以及共生环境数字化的异质性影响。结果发现,疫情对于线上生活缴费存在负面冲击,但产业链上下游的数字化协同对于以上冲击具有缓解作用。这一结果说明,数字化需要产业链上的协同,产业链任何一个环节在数字化转型上的迟缓,都可能成为限制数字化在突发事件中发挥缓冲作用的“短板”。另外,共生环境的数字化对冲击缓解也具有影响。结果表明,共生环境的数字化水平,能够增强产业链数字化协同所带来的缓解作用,说明建设数字基础设施具有重要价值。In recent years,with the rapid development of digital technology,digital innovations based on artificial intelligence,big data,cloud computing has changed the boundary of organization and the connection among organizations.Many firms have devoted themselves to digital transformation to respond to the new business model and new demand in the era of digital economy.Especially since the outbreak of COVID-19 in early 2020,a new demand for"non-contact"digital service has been triggered,and the importance of digital transformation has aroused the concern of all sectors and industries in China.However,the relationship between digitalization and firm performance is still inconclusive.Since firms cannot operate independently,the interorganizational interactions and dependencies deserve attention.This inconclusive finding may due to the fact that the existing literature does not take the digitalization of other symbiosis stakeholders into account.Based on the theory of organizational symbiosis,and the province-day-level living payment data in 2019 and2020,this paper discusses the mitigation effect of digital collaboration of the industrial chain and the impact of the external environment.The article first examines the impact of symbiotic relationships among organizations.In a symbiotic relationship empowered by digital technology,if one symbiotic unit adopts a digital business model but other symbiotic units do not,contributions such as shock mitigation from digitalization will be difficult to realize.Therefore,Hypothesis 1 argues that digital symbiosis in the industry chain can mitigate the impact of the epidemic on the organization.In addition,to the interorganizational interactions of symbiotic relationships,the symbiotic environment also has direct and indirect effects on organizational business activities.In the digital context,differences in the digital development of the external environment may also have an impact on the value of digital symbiosis in the industry chain,as there are still regional differences in the
