新闻文化的可比性悖论与可能的重构路径——基于批判地区主义的视角

摘　　要：考察近年来世界新闻业调查项目团队的研究活动与研究过程,发现其存在新闻文化的可比性悖论。一方面拆解了新闻文化的内部结构,将情境因素编织进一个功能对等的概念结构之中;另一方面又使地方新闻文化也落入概念结构之中,得到的只是定型化、区隔化的地方。以国家为单位划分新闻文化类型并描绘其差异性否认了地区间新闻文化的流动性与观念的交融性,收缩了比较可能带来的理解与交往空间,有可能陷入民族中心主义。从批判地区主义视角重构新闻文化比较研究的路径,主要包括新闻文化的旅行路径、混杂性路径、跨文化交往路径和跨国新闻流路径。The comparability paradox of journalism culture lies in: dismantling the internal structure of journalism culture and weaving situational factors into a conceptual structure of functional equivalence;However,the local journalism culture also falls into the conceptual structure,and only gets the regions that are stationary and separate. What’s more,the Worlds of Journalism Study divides the types of journalism culture by country and tries to describe their differences. Nevertheless,the fluidity of journalism culture and the integration of ideas between regions will be denied if such differences are true,to the extent that the space of understanding and communication can be brought by comparison may be shrunk,and even fall into ethnocentrism again. From the perspective of critical regionalism,this paper attempts to study the research activities and process of the Worlds of Journalism Study( 2007-2021) and reflects on its theoretical paradox. Finally,this paper puts forward that we should enter the journalism culture comparison through the communicative situation,linking up the complicated reality of the region involved,and reconstructing the possible ways of journalism culture comparison,that is,the travel path of journalism culture,hybrid path,cross-cultural communication path and transnational news flow path.
