摘　　要：全过程人民民主是党的民主理论的时代表达,集中体现了社会主义民主政治的鲜明特色与显著优势。全过程人民民主是中国共产党领导下的社会主义民主形态,具有不同于西式民主的本质规定。发展全过程人民民主,必须坚持党的全面领导的根本性原则、人民当家作主的主体性原则、社会主义制度的基础性原则、全面依法治国的实践性原则、治理问题导向的发展性原则,始终保证全过程人民民主的政治属性与民主本质。Whole-process people’s democracy is the contemporary expression of the CPC’s theory of democracy and it reflects the distinctive features and significant advantages of socialist democratic politics. It is a form of socialist democracy under the leadership of the CPC and has essential provisions that are different from Western democracy. To develop the whole-process people’s democracy, we have to adhere to the fundamental principle of the overall leadership of the CPC, the subjective principle of the people running the country, the foundational principle of the socialist system, the practical principle of fully advancing the law-based governance of China, and the developmental principle of issue-oriented governance, and always ensure its political attributes and democratic essence.
