从《白鲸记》看图像小说对传统小说的重塑

摘　　要：图像小说是一种新型艺术形式,它从属于漫画大类,可归为传统绘画艺术的衍生,它以图像作为主要表现手段、以语言文字为配合,在保留绘画艺术的视觉性基础上对文学加以借鉴,形成了其独有的风格特征。当今社会视觉文化热潮盛行,文字的生存空间不断被图像挤压,传统文学形式的作品面临着大众读者流失的困境,在文化中的地位愈发趋于边缘化,文学迫切需要寻找到一条回归大众的新途径。现今文学的他种艺术形式重塑如火如荼,而其中同为书籍出版形式发行的图像小说的成功经验对传统小说的发展具有较高的借鉴意义。图像小说对传统小说的重塑主要表现在情节叙事与形象刻画两个方面,在创作层面与接受层面对于传统小说的创新发展具有一定的启示。Graphic novel,belonging to the Comic category,which can be classified as the derivation of traditional painting art,is a new art form.It takes images as the main means of expression,with language as the coordination,on the basis of preserving the visual nature of painting art to learn from literature,formed its unique style characteristics.In nowadays society,visual culture is prevalent,so the living space of texts is constantly squeezed by images,and traditional literary works are facing the dilemma of loss of readers and increasingly marginalized in culture.Therefore,literature urgently needs to find a new way to return to the public.Nowadays,adaptation of literary works in other art forms is in full swing,and the successful experience of graphic novels,which are also published in the form of books,has a high reference significance for the development of traditional novels.The remodeling of traditional novels by graphic novels is mainly manifested in the two aspects of plot narration and image depiction,which has certain enlightenment for the innovation and development of traditional novels in the level of creation and reception.
