基于多模态隐喻场景的生态话语分析——以生物能源政治漫画为例

摘　　要：本文整合生态话语分析和多模态认知批评分析,构建了基于多模态隐喻场景的生态话语分析框架,以生物能源政治漫画为例,分析考察生态立场的反讽式表征,并基于生态哲学观阐释该类漫画的生态价值和意义。主要发现包括:(1)该类漫画主要构建了“加油”“吞噬”“喂养”“乞讨”四类隐喻场景;(2)普遍运用由转喻(丛)和隐喻(丛)编织的多模态隐喻场景,以揭露和反讽的方式表达生态立场;(3)以多模态隐喻场景为认知形塑工具,通过揭露全球化生物能源产业对人与自然、人与人、人与社会之间和谐共生关系的严重破坏,引导公众识破其伪生态本质,反讽式建构和倡导有益性生态立场。By integrating ecological discourse analysis and critical cognitive analysis of multimodality,this paper constructs an analytical framework of multimodal metaphor scenario-based ecological discourse analysis.The framework is employed to investigate the ironic representation of ecological stance in the English political cartoons on bioenergy,whereby the underlying ecological value and significance of such cartoons are explicated on our working ecological philosophy.The main findings are as follows:(1) Four types of metaphorical scenarios are predominantly employed in these cartoons:GAS FILLING,SWALLOWING,FEEDING,BEGGING.(2) Multimodal metaphor scenarios out of metonymy(cluster) and metaphor(cluster) are widely deployed in these political cartoons as rhetoric as well as conceptual device to shape public perception,and to call on common understanding and evaluation in implicit and ironical manner.(3) The multimodal metaphorical scenarios uncover the destructivity of bioenergy industry developed in capitalism to coexistence between man and nature,man and man,man and society,whereby promoting public realization of the pseudo-ecological nature of bioenergy industry.
