摘 要:中国减贫话语的英译是中国减贫方案和减贫智慧全球共享的前提。象似修辞翻译是运用语言象似性作为象征资源增进国际受众理解、互动与认同的交际行为,翻译时对象征资源进行有效保留和创造性重塑才能再现原文蕴含的劝导、理解、合作的修辞动机。通过对《人类减贫的中国实践》白皮书英译本的分析发现:对于顺序象似修辞的英译,要确保逻辑顺序与原文的逻辑顺序象似一致,必要时进行语法和结构调整;对于数量象似修辞的英译,在确保原文语符数量再现的同时,进行同义词替换或句型转换以避免僵硬的重复;对于距离象似修辞的英译,首先尝试直接再现原文语符的距离象似性,再根据修辞动机和受众心理对原文的距离象似修辞进行创造性再现与重构。中国减贫话语句法象似修辞的翻译强调译文对原文语符象似的灵活再现,注重对原文修辞力和感染力的重构,重视对翻译受众的关照与考量,引发国际受众情感共鸣,达到理解、认同、合作的翻译目标。句法象似修辞视角下的中国减贫话语英译研究为讲好中国减贫故事、彰显国家话语自信和构建国家形象提供有益的启示。Translation of Chinese poverty reduction discourse is the precondition in sharing Chinese poverty reduction scheme and wisdom all over the world.Iconicity rhetoric translation is a communicative activity in which iconicity as symbolic resources bring the audience to understanding and interaction.In translation,the effective retaining of symbolic resources can reappear the rhetoric motivation of persuasion,understanding and cooperation.After the detailed analysis of Poverty Alleviation:China’s Experience and Contribution,it is found that for Sequence Iconicity,the sequential logic of original text should be followed with some grammatical change when necessary;for Quantity Iconicity,the quantity features should be represented but also to avoid the stiff repetition;for Distance Iconicity,the first is to correspond to the distance iconicity of the original text,if not proper,the translation should be adjusted with innovation to represent stylistic effects and pragmatic rhetoric based on the rhetoric motivation.Iconicity rhetoric translation stresses the creative reappearance of iconic feature,the reconstruction of rhetoric appeal,the need of audience in order to achieve the aim of translation.The study of syntactic iconic rhetoric is conducive to telling Chinese poverty reduction story well,showing discourse confidence and building positive state image.
