摘　　要：李端棻是一位伟大的爱国主义者、中国近代教育的开拓者和奠基者。他为推动变法维新、发展中国近代教育作出了重大贡献,应大力弘扬其爱国忧民、积极进取、开拓创新的人文精神,加强对其文化资源的保护和开发利用,为地方社会经济和文化发展服务。Li Duanfen is a great patriot, pioneer and founder of modern Chinese education. He has made great contributions to the reform and the development of modern education in China. We should strengthen the protection, development and utilization of these cultural resources, in order to carry forward the patriotic, pioneering and innovative spirit, and serve the local socioeconomic and cultural development.
