From “Cultural Perspective” to Exploring the Forging of the Cultural Genes of the Chinese Nation:A Review of the Author’s Mentality of Engaging in Historical Research

摘　　要：治学理念是研究者根据本学科的特点和主观抉择总结出来的,治学理念形成之后,应当在研究工作中得到认真践行,并且与时俱进,予以提升、发展,这对学术工作的创新有重要作用,需要认真地反思和总结。“从文化视角研究史学”是从学术实践中总结出来的治史理念,主要是将历代史学名著的成就置于一个时代的社会思潮、文化走向之中,考察史家对时代特点的认识;同时又通过史学名著,考察中国文化传统如何得到继承和发扬,展现出怎样的特质和魅力,对推动社会前进和学术发展产生了什么作用。运用这一双向考察的理念与方法,对中国史学演进道路和史学名著进行创造性阐释,发掘其非凡成就、哲理内涵和宝贵价值。在此基础上,考察传统学术的精华何以通向马克思主义,探寻“马克思主义的理论要点”和“传统思想中的闪光点”相贯通的内在逻辑。继而,探索中华民族文化基因如何锻造,这也是对“史学与中国文化传统双向考察”这一理念的进一步践行和提升。The ideas for pursuing studies is summed up by the researchers according to the characteristics and subjective choices of the subject.After its formation,it should be seriously practiced in the research work,and be improved and developed in keeping with the times,which plays an important role in the innovation of academic work and requires serious reflection and summary.“Researching history from a cultural perspective” is a concept of historical study summed up from academic practice,which mainly places the achievements of historical masterpieces in the social ideological trend and cultural trend of an era,and examines the historians’ understanding of the characteristics of the times;at the same time,it also examines how Chinese cultural traditions are inherited and carried forward,what characteristics and charms are displayed,and what effects they have on promoting social progress and academic development through historical masterpieces.Using this two-way investigation concept and method,this paper creatively interprets the evolution of Chinese historiography and historical masterpieces,and discovers their extraordinary achievements,philosophical connotations and precious values.On this basis,the author examines how the essence of traditional academics leads to Marxism,and explores the internal logic of the connection between “the theoretical points of Marxism” and “the shining points in traditional thought”.Finally,the paper explores how to forge the cultural genes of the Chinese nation which is also a further practice and improvement of the concept of “two-way investigation of historiography and Chinese cultural traditions”.
