摘　　要：现代化的本质内涵是科学理性至上的价值取向,这个取向贯穿于整个近代以来中国现代化发展的全过程。近代以来无论是清政府主持的改革还是士大夫群体对器物、制度变革的设想,都未触及科学理性精神层面。新文化运动以后,以先进的共产党人为代表的知识群体增进了对科学理性精神的理解。只有在中国共产党领导中国人民革命求解放的历程中,科学理性精神才得以实践并明晰。新中国成立后前30年的社会主义现代化建设在曲折中前进,“四个现代化”的提出、完整工业体系初步建立、国防科技的奠基发展,体现了对科学理性精神的切实践行。改革开放是党领导中国人民重新高举实事求是、群众观点的科学理性大旗,拓展中国现代化生机与活力的生动实践。新时代中国特色社会主义现代化建设既秉持了党的历史上一脉相承的科学理性精神,更进一步丰富和完善了其内涵,强调高质量发展、科教兴国,突出制度和人的现代化,继承并推进了社会主义现代化的建设目标。The essence of modernization is the value of scientific rationality,which runs through the whole process of China’s modernization development.Since modern times,neither the reform under the leadership of the Qing government nor the assumption of the scholar-bureaucrats on the reform of institutions have touched the level of scientific rational spirit.After the New Culture Movement,the intellectual group represented by the advanced Communists enhanced the understanding of scientific rational spirit.Only in the course of the Chinese people’s revolutionary quest for liberation led by the Communist Party of China can the scientific rational spirit be practiced and clarified.In the first 30 years after the founding of New China,the socialist modernization advanced through twists and turns.The proposal of“the Four Modernizations”,the preliminary establishment of a complete industrial system,and the foundational development of national defense science and technology reflected the practical practice of the scientific and rational spirit.Reform and Opening-up is a vivid practice in which the Communist Party of China leads the Chinese people to hold high the scientific and rational banner of seeking truth from facts and the views of the masses,and expand the vitality and vigor of China’s modernization.The socialist modernization drive with Chinese characteristics in the new era has not only upheld the scientific and rational spirit inherited from the Communist Party of China’s history,but further enriched and improved its connotation,emphasizing High-Quality Development,Rejuvenating the Country through Science and Education,highlighting institutional and human modernization,and inheriting and advancing the goal of socialist modernization.
