非洲文学研究的奠基和学者的主体性自觉——从朱振武新著《非洲英语文学的源与流》谈起

摘　　要：西方世界自20世纪60年代起业已出现专业化和体系化的非洲文学研究,与之相比,中国的非洲文学研究虽然起步较早但一直处在外国文学研究中的边缘。中国作为一个大国,理应均衡吸纳外国文学文化的优秀成果,应该具备与其大国地位相匹配的关于世界文学的知识。《非洲英语文学的源与流》是国内第一部专门研究非洲英语文学的源流嬗变的学术专著,这部专著的出版,以及对非英美国家英语文学研究的思考启示我们:坚持文化自信、拥有本土视角、彰显主体性自觉对外国文学研究何其重要。中国学者唯有深刻把握20世纪非洲英语文学的发展历程,积极参与构建21世纪世界文学新秩序,解构西方中心主义话语,才能建构出具有中国特色的话语体系。In the Western world since the 1960s,there has been a professional and systematic study of African English literature.In contrast,African English literature studies in China have been in the marginal position of foreign literature studies although they started earlier.As a big country,China should absorb the outstanding achievements of foreign literature and culture in a balanced way,and it should have knowledge about world literature that matches its status as a big country.Root and Flower of African English Literature is the first domestic academic monograph dedicated to the source and development of African English literature.The publication of this monograph and reflections on the study of English literature in non-British and American countries have inspired us,which shows the great significance of the local perspective and subjective consciousness to foreign literature research.Only by having a deep grasp of the development of African English literature in the 20th century,actively participating in the construction of a new world literature order in the 21st century,and deconstructing Western centralist discourse,can Chinese scholars construct a discourse system with Chinese characteristics.
