Brace is an important part of foundation pit. Reasonable calculation of brace axial force is not only conducive to improve economy of the brace structure, but also convenient for real-time evaluation of brace safety during the process of foundation pit excavation. Therefore, the monitoring layout of the brace axial force of Yanghe Road Station of Shaoxing Metro Line 1 is introduced in detail, the evolution and spatial distribution of the brace axial force and discuss is analyzedthe applicability of the existing calculation model of the brace axial force. It is found that each layer of steel brace will reduce the brace axial force at the first layer of concrete brace; The greater the horizontal spacing and stiffness of the support, the greater the axial force; The uneven distribution of the brace axial force is mainly caused by the uneven distribution of the stratum; The maximum axial force of the steel brace can be well predicted by the coarse-grained soil model and the upper limit model of hard clay. The research results provide a reference for the calculation and prediction of the axial force of the foundation pit brace in layered soft soil.
