摘　　要：清代士族文人的日常生活与底层文人的日常生活似乎在两个场域,其实这是部分现象,并非全部事实。在生活实践和写作实践中,许多清代文人并没有将两个场域作明显划分,亦未对文体作严格的雅俗区别,联语可以成为一个典型例证。这是清代江南日常频见的写作形式,既有才华丰沛的士族文人参与,社会底层文人也能操作,且多见名家。联语为社会日常生活史提供了凭证;而社会生活为文学赋能,使这一特殊的韵文形式有了广阔的应用空间。作为一种鲜活生动的文化表达方式,可将联语视为特殊形态的文学文本,亦可视为别具价值的社会传记。在中国文学史和社会史学的大殿中,联语都应该占有一席之地。The daily life of the scholarly literati and the literati of the lower classes in the Qing dynasty seem to be in two realms, but this is actually a partial phenomenon, not the whole truth.Between the practices in life and in literary writing, many Qing literati did not make a clear distinction between the two fields, nor did they make a strict distinction between elegant and vulgar styles of writing.The writing of antithetical couplet can be seen as illustration.This was a common form of writing in Jiangnan during the Qing dynasty, involving both talented scholars from privileged families and literati from the lower strata of society, many of whom were famous writers.The antithetical couplets provide evidence for the history of everyday life in society.Social life empowers literature, giving this particular rhyming form a wide scope for application.As a vibrant and lively form of cultural expression, antithetical couplet can be regarded as a special form of literary text, and also as a valuable social biography.In the pantheon of both literary and social historiography, the antithetical couplet should have a place.
