摘　　要：在绝对贫困消除后,相对贫困成为当下社会各界关心的主要话题。本文利用2017年中国综合社会调查(CGSS)数据实证分析了互联网使用对相对贫困的影响及其机制。研究发现:无论是全国来看,还是分城乡来看,互联网使用均显著缓解了居民相对贫困。上述结论在克服内生性偏误之后仍然成立。进一步的研究表明,互联网使用对相对贫困的正向缓解作用随着社会信任水平、市场化程度的提高而减弱,在教育水平上体现出强烈的异质性。机制检验结果表明,互联网使用通过促进个体就业创业、金融投资而改善相对贫困状态,并且对低收入群体的增收效应显著高于中、高收入群体。加快互联网的普及和信息基础设施的建设对解决相对贫困具有重要作用,而良好的制度环境是抵御贫困的重要屏障。After the elimination of absolute poverty,relative poverty has become a major topic of concern to all sectors of society.Using the 2017 Chinese General Social Survey(CGSS)data,this paper analyzed the impact of Internet use on relative poverty and its mechanism.The result showed that Internet use has significantly alleviated the relative poverty of residents from both nationwide angles and the perspectives of urban and rural areas.The above conclusion is still valid after overcoming the endogenous bias.Further research showed that the positive alleviation effect of Internet use on relative poverty weakens with the increase of social trust and marketization,showing strong heterogeneity in education level.The mechanism test results showed that Internet use improves relative poverty by promoting individual employment,entrepreneurship,and financial investment,and the income-increasing effect of low-income groups is significantly higher than that of middle-and high-income groups.Popularization of the Internet and the construction of information infrastructure play an important role in solving relative poverty,and a good institutional environment is a crucial barrier against poverty.
