Objective To analyze the effect of phased nursing intervention on blood glucose index and compliance behavior in patients with primary diabetes. Methods Sixty-five patients with primary diabetes treated in our hospital from January 2021 to January 2022 were selected and divided into study group(n=33) and control group(n=32) according to different nursing programs. The control group was given routine outpatient nursing intervention, and the study group adopted phased nursing intervention. The patients were followed up for 6 months, and the blood glucose and lipid indexes, medical compliance behavior, psychological state, nursing satisfaction and the incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results After nursing, the levels of FPG, HbA1c and 2hPG in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). The behaviors of complying with the doctor’s advice in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the study group(3.03%) was lower than that in the control group(18.75%), which was statistically significant(χ^(2)=4.1777, P<0.05). After nursing, the SAS score and SDS score of the study group were lower than those of the control group, and the nursing satisfaction score of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion Patients with primary diabetes were given phased nursing intervention to meet the patients’ nursing needs and enhance their compliance with the doctor’s advice, thus effectively controlling blood sugar, reducing the risk of complications and improving the psychological state of patients.
