基于类比语料库的《文心雕龙》三个英译本对比研究:兼以社会翻译学视角的解析

摘　　要：本文基于自建的英语类比语料库,以英语同类原生文本《诺顿文学理论与文学批评选集》为参照,对宇文所安、施友忠、杨国斌翻译的《文心雕龙》三个代表性英译本进行对比研究。通过对《文心雕龙》三个英译本进行以英语同类原生文本为对照的词汇分析、句长分析和情感分析,文章揭示了三个英译本在类符形符比、词汇密度、词汇频度、平均句长、情感极性、情感级数等六个层面上的语言、文体、情感特征,发现宇文所安译本在多个层面上更加接近英语原生参照文本,而施友忠和杨国斌两个译本与英语原生参照文本相比各有长短,进而从社会翻译学的角度阐述了宇文所安译本较之施友忠译本和杨国斌译本更接近英语同类原生文本,且更容易在西方英语国家得到关注与认可的深层原因。Based on an English comparable corpus,the present paper makes a comparative analysis of the three English translations of the Chinese literary criticism classic Wenxin Diaolong rendered respectively by Stephen Owen,Vincent Yu-chung Shih and Guobin Yang by comparing them with the original English text The Norton Anthology of Theory and Criticism.Through the analysis,it identifies different linguistic,stylistic and sentimental features of the three English translations in terms of type/token ratio,lexical density,word frequency,average sentence length,sentiment polarity and sentiment magnitude in contrast with the chosen original English text.It is found that Owen’s translation is closer to the original English text and better-received in the anglophone world than the other two versions,which resemble the original English text in various ways,and further reveals the underlying reasons from the perspective of socio-translation studies.
