摘　　要：作为一名深谙叙事技巧的科幻作家和具有深刻思想的人文主义者,雷·布拉德伯里巧妙地将哥特文学元素融入科幻文学创作,并使之发挥了积极作用。布拉德伯里作品中的哥特文学元素不仅包含哥特文学素材,还包含了哥特艺术精神。通过对哥特文学传统的继承与创新,布拉德伯里的科幻作品反对工具理性主义对人类思想的主宰,批判现实社会的黑暗与不公,发掘日常生活诡异恐怖的一面,此外,作家还通过哥特文学元素反衬出人性的高贵与温暖,肯定了人生的价值与意义。布拉德伯里科幻小说中的哥特文学元素兼具批判性和建设性,确保了其作品在艺术和思想方面都有可取之处。Ray Bradbury,a science fiction writer with great narrative skills and a humanist with profound thoughts,delicately brings the Gothic literature elements into science fiction writing.The Gothic literature elements in Bradbury’s science fictions include both the Gothic materials and the Gothic spirit of art.Through inheritance and innovation of Gothic tradition in literature,Bradbury opposes the dominant role of instrumental reason in human mind,criticizes the darkness and unfairness of the social realities,and explores the absurdities and horrors of daily life.Meanwhile,Bradbury,with the application of Gothic elements,makes more outstanding the nobility and warmth of humanity,and confirms the values and significance of human life.The Gothic literature elements in Bradbury’s science fictions,both destructive and constructive,bring in both artfulness and thoughtfulness.
