摘  要:以一种聚甲基丙烯酸酯类粘度指数改进剂为例,采用凝胶渗透色谱(GPC)、热重(TG)、红外光谱(FT-IR)和热裂解气质联用(Py-GC/MS)对聚合物的分子量、热稳定性和结构进行表征.结果表明,样品的数均分子量M_(n)为9.1×10^(4) g·mol^(-1),重均分子量M w为6.9×10^(5) g·mol^(-1),分散度D为7.6;样品在364.8℃开始分解,最大分解温度为393.7℃.该粘度指数改进剂主要为苯乙烯、甲基丙烯酸丁酯、甲基丙烯酸十二酯、甲基丙烯酸十四酯单体共聚的线性直链分子,单体比例依次为15∶20∶44∶21.本研究结果为聚甲基丙烯酸酯粘度指数改进剂的结构表征提供了一套完整、可行、简便的分析方法,也为制备高性能粘度指数改进剂提供了思路.Taking a kind of polymethacrylate viscosity index improver as an example,the molecular weight,thermal stability,and structure were characterized by using gel permeation chromatography(GPC),thermogravimetric analysis(TG),infrared spectrum(IR)and pyrolysis-gas chromatography/mass spectrometry(Py-GC/MS).The results showed that the number average molecular weight M_(n) is 9.1×10^(4) g·mol^(-1),weight average molecular weight M w is 6.9×10^(5) g·mol^(-1),and the dispersion D is 7.6.The decomposition of samples begins at 364.8℃,and the maximum decomposition temperature is 393.7℃.This viscosity index improver is mainly a linear straight chain molecule,which is copolymerized by styrene,butyl methacrylate,dodecyl methacrylate and tetradecyl methacrylate monomers,and the monomer ratio in sequence is 15∶20∶44∶21.The results of this study provide a complete,feasible and simple analytical method forthe structural characterization of polymethacrylate viscosity index modifiers,and also provide ideas forthe preparation of high performance viscosity index improvers.
