Preliminary report of the excavation of the northeastern corner double-walled city and the Shiwangzhai site of the Sui-and-Tang Dynasties Chang’an City in 2022

摘　　要：隋唐长安城东北角夹城及十王宅遗址位于隋唐长安城遗址东北部。2022年5月至12月,西安市文物保护考古研究院对该遗址区域内十王宅东坊墙、东坊墙与夹城墙之间的道路、北坊墙与外郭城北城墙之间的唐代地面、外郭城北城墙进行了主动性发掘,清理道路、车辙、排水沟等遗迹,并解剖了十王宅东坊墙墙基,外郭城北城墙墙基。本文即是对2022年度发掘工作主要收获的简报。The northeastern corner double-walled city and the Shiwangzhai site are located in northeast Chang’an City of the Sui and Tang Dynasties. From May to December 2022, the Xi’an Municipal Institute of Cultural Relics Conservation and Archaeology conducted an excavation of several features in the site area,including the eastern lifang grid wall of Shiwangzhai, the road between the wall and the double-walled city,the Tang-Dynasty surface between the northern grid wall and the northern wall of the outer city, and the northern wall of the outer city. Roads, cart tracks and drainage ditches were unearthed and the foundations of the eastern grid wall of Shiwangzhai and the northern wall of the outer city were revealed. This article is a preliminary report on the main achievements of the excavation in 2022.
