摘　　要：绵羊体外胚胎生产技术对于优良绵羊品种扩繁、绵羊新品种创制具有重要意义。然而,与体内胚胎相比,体外生产的绵羊胚胎发育潜力低、胚胎质量差,并且体外生产的绵羊胚胎冷冻效果不理想,这些都严重限制了该技术的产业化应用。褪黑素是一种由松果体合成并分泌的物质,作为一种有效的抗氧化剂,可以减少氧化应激,在绵羊体外卵母细胞和体外胚胎的发育等方面起到非常重要的作用。本文介绍了褪黑素的功能和作用机制,并对褪黑素在绵羊体外胚胎生产技术中的应用进行阐述,旨在为褪黑素的进一步研究提供参考依据。Sheep in vitro embryo production technology is of great significance for the expansion of excellent sheep varieties and the creation of new sheep varieties.However,studies have shown that compared with in vivo embryos,sheep embryos produced in vitro have low developmental potential,poor embryo quality,and the freezing effect of sheep embryos produced in vitro is not ideal,which seriously limits the industrial application of this technology.Melatonin is a substance synthesized and secreted by the pineal gland.As an effective antioxidant,melatonin can reduce oxidative stress and play a very important role in the development of sheep oocytes and embryos in vitro.This paper introduces the function and mechanism of melatonin,and expounds the application of melatonin in sheep embryo production in vitro,in order to provide reference for the further research of melatonin.
