摘　　要：拉尔夫·艾里森的小说《看不见的人》当属战后美国文学史上里程碑式的著作。作品摆脱了黑人小说惯有的主题:种族歧视和种族仇恨,讲述了主人公无名黑人青年探寻自我和自我觉醒的经历。小说通过空间规训、空间迁移和空间重构等书写技巧,揭示了美国种族隔离盛行时期非裔族群所面临的伦理困境和身份迷失,再现了人物伦理选择的两难境地和意识觉醒,反映了美国非裔族群的伦理诉求,同时也表达了种族融合的美好愿望。Ralph Ellison’s novel Invisible Man is a landmark in the history of post-war American literature.Moving away from the traditional themes of racial discrimination and racial hatred usually explored in African American writings,the novel tells a story about an anonymous black young man’s experience of self-exploration and self-awakening.With a detailed description and skillful representation of spatial discipline,spatial migration and spatial reconstruction,the novel reveals the ethical dilemma and the loss of identity experienced by the black community during the period of racial segregation in the United States,reflects the protagonist’s difficulty in ethical choices under such an ethical environment,but at the same time praises his awakening of consciousness.The book demonstrates the author’s strong concern and ethical appeal for the African American people,and also exhibits his good wishes for the racial integration.
