摘 要:用机械共混法制备了三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)/硅藻土复合材料,研究了硅藻土用量和硅烷偶联剂KH570用量对复合材料工艺性能、力学性能、耐老化性能的影响,并对比了硅藻土、陶土和碳酸钙对EPDM的补强性。结果表明,随着硅藻土用量的增加,复合材料的焦烧时间缩短、硫化时间延长、门尼黏度增大,力学性能和耐老化性能呈下降趋势,当硅藻土用量为20份时复合材料的拉伸强度、撕裂强度和扯断伸长率较大;偶联剂用量为硅藻土的1.5%时对硅藻土的改性效果较好,经改性的硅藻土对EPDM的补强性与陶土相当、优于碳酸钙。Ethylene propylene diene monomer(EPDM)/diatomite composites were prepared by mechanical blending.The effects of the amount of diatomite and silane coupling agent KH570 on the technological properties,mechanical properties and aging resistance of the composites were studied.The reinforcing properties of diatomite,clay and calcium carbonate on EPDM were compared.The results showed that with the increase of diatomite dosage,the scorch time of the composite reduced,the curing time extended,the Mooney viscosity increased,and the mechanical properties and aging resistance decreased.When the amount of diatomite is 20 phr,the tensile strength,tear strength and elongation at break of the composite was large.And when the dosage of coupling agent is 1.5%of diatomite,the modification effect was better.The strength of diatomite modified with appropriate coupling agent on EPDM rubber was equal to clay and better than calcium carbonate.
