Objective To explore the effects of the model of internet-based blended learning combined hospital-family collaborative intervention in breastfeeding to primiparas. Methods One hundred of thirty-oneprimiparas were randomized into an experimental group(66 cases) and a control group(65 cases). The control group was given traditional education, while the experimental group additionally received the model of internet-based blended learning combined hospital-family collaborative intervention. The incidences of breastfeeding-related breast diseases and breastfeeding situations were compared between two groups. Results Compared with control group, the incidences of cracked nipple, galactostasis and acute mammary inflammation of experimental group were significantly lower(all P<0.05).The timing of onset of lactation in experimentalwas shorter, and rate of delayed onset of lactogenesis(DOL) was lower, as well as higher 6-month exclusive breastfeeding rate were statistically higher than those in the control group(all P<0.05).Conclusion The model of internet-based blended learning combined hospital-family collaborative intervention can effectively reduce their incidence of primiparas’ breastfeeding-related diseases, promote their onset of lactation and improve their 6-month exclusive breastfeeding, thus to enhance mothers’ and children’s health.
