摘　　要：1937年2月,意大利水兵无视中国主权与法律,将放映苏联影片《阿比西尼亚》的上海大戏院捣毁,造成人员受伤与财产损失。中国向意大利提出严正抗议及赔偿损失、惩治肇事者等要求。在交涉过程中,意大利方面先是抵赖,后是拖延,使交涉数次陷入僵局,几无进展。苏联因素的存在,更使交涉复杂化。7月,全面抗战爆发,交涉无果而终。日本入侵东北后,中国民族主义高涨与准备对日作战争取列强支持的双重压力,使得南京政府当局在对外交涉时,左支右绌,往往成为交涉的弱势方。此案正是当时中国与列强交涉的一个缩影。The present paper points out that, in the Sino-Italian negotiations about the Metropol Cinema incident taking place in February, 1937 in Shanghai, in which the Italian marines intentionally destroyed the cinema shooting a film of Soviet Union, Rome regime was deliberately dishonest and then in July the outbreak of Japan’s all-round war of aggression against China seriously affected the negotiation. It concludes that this negotiation epitomized the ruling Guomindang’s pressure in the face of the upsurging nationalism and resistance against Japan.
