摘　　要：秀玉是潍坊科技学院利用地方品种刘旺甜瓜提纯改良获得的早熟薄皮甜瓜新品种。植株长势健壮,结实能力强,以孙蔓结瓜为主,单株可留瓜6~8个。全生育期93 d左右,果实发育期31 d左右。果实棒形,均匀,果实纵径16~19 cm、横径8~9 cm,果肉厚度1.9~2.2 cm。单瓜质量480 g左右,平均667 m^(2)产量7 508.69 kg。成熟后果皮浅绿色略带绿色条斑,果肉绿色,中心可溶性固形物含量(w,后同)14.8%,瓜瓤橙红色,肉质酥爽,清香味浓,品质佳,皮薄耐裂,货架期长,耐贮运,综合性状优良,适合在山东、河南、河北、海南大部分地区春秋季保护地栽培。2020年4月通过国家非主要农作物品种登记。The new oriental melon Xiuyu was developed by Weifang University of Science and Technology through purification and improvement of local cultivar Liuwang melon.The plant grows strongly,and has strong fruiting setting ability,it main sets from sub-secondary vine.A single plant can better have 6 to 8 fruits.The whole growth period is about 93 days and fruit matures about 31 days after pollination.The fruit is stick-shaped and uniform with about 16-19 cm longth,8-9 cm in width and 1.9-2.2 cm in flesh thickness.average weight of single fruit is about 480 g,The average yield per 667 m^(2) is about 7508.69 kg.The light green surface of the peel is slightly green,the flesh is dark green,and the soluble solids are 14.8%.It is crispy,sweet,and rich in flavor.It has gond flavour and taste.It is suitable to cultivate of spring and autumn in Shandong,Henan,Hebe and Hainan,It has passed the registration of non-major crop varieties by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in 2020.
