摘  要:十年内战时期,南京国民政府注重民众教育运动,通过广泛设立民众教育馆、识字馆、阅书报处、代书处、阅报所、夜校等举措,推动报刊公共阅读的发展,提升了报刊的利用率和阅读率。而针对普通民众尤其是少年儿童的读报指导运动,进一步推动了报刊阅读的大众化。通过公共阅读活动,民众对报刊的认知水平有了明显提高。公共阅读场所与社会教育的有机结合,使报刊“介入”普通民众的日常生活,民众通过识字、读报,与外部世界建立了广泛的联系。During the ten-year civil war,the Nanjing National Government focused on the mass education movement and promoted the development of public reading of newspapers and periodicals through the extensive establishment of public education centers,literacy centers,book and newspaper reading offices,book agency offices,newspaper reading offices,night schools and other measures,thus improving the utilization and the reading rate of newspapers and periodicals. The newspaper reading guidance movement for ordinary people,especially teenagers and children,further promoted the popularization of newspaper reading. Through public reading activities,people’s cognitive level of newspapers and periodicals was significantly enhanced. The organic combination of public reading sites and social education enabled newspapers to intervene into the daily life of ordinary people. By literacy and reading,the public established an extensive network with the outside world.
