摘  要:被动式无膜碱性直接硼氢化钠燃料电池(DBFCs)具备高能量密度、低成本且无储氢需求等优点,被认为是一种极具发展潜力的便携式电化学电源。DBFC阳极常采用的非贵金属Ni,其价格低廉,且对硼氢化钠氧化反应(BOR)具有较高的催化活性,但也存在库伦效率较低、副产氢严重等问题,大大降低了阳极产电性能。为解决上述问题,本文采用电化学沉积法在高比表面积Ni网上沉积Pd制备了低载量Pd-Ni阳极,并研究了不同Pd载量对此阳极BOR性能的影响。结果表明,当Pd载量为0.3 mg·cm^(-2)时,构建的DBFC性能最佳,室温条件下其最高功率密度可达63 mW·cm^(-2),表现出良好的商业化应用潜力。The passive membrane-free alkaline direct borohydride fuel cells(DBFCs)are considered as a promising alternative for portable electronic devices due to its high energy density of fuel and low cost.Ni is the most commonly used anode material as it has the advantages of low capital cost and high catalytic activity for borohydride oxidation reaction(BOR).However,its low coulombic efficiency and high byproduct production during discharging greatly hindered its application in DBFCs.To address these issues,a Pd-decorated Ni anode with a low Pd loading was obtained by electrochemically depositing Pd on Ni mesh.It was found that the loading of Pd on the anode played a crucial role on the activity of borohydride oxidation reaction(BOR).The passive membrane-free DBFC with this Pd-Ni composite anode exhibited a maximum power power density of 63 mW·cm^(-2) when the Pd loading was 0.3 mg·cm^(-2).These results indicated that the membrane-free DBFC with the Pd-decorated Ni composite electrode had a great potential for the commercial application.
