摘　　要：总结邱明义教授临证联用黄芩、黄连经验,以芩连合用苦降理气、和调脾胃以治痞为一用,引芩连清热燥湿、厚肠坚壁以治利为二用,合用芩连交通心肾、降火存阴以治寐为三功,芩连相须清胆燥湿、理气化痰以治痰为四用,以芩连泻火坚阴、调降阴火治汗为五义,取其清利三焦、燥湿解毒以治疖为六用,再以其权衡药性,佐制温药以补脾,列为芩连七用。To summarize Professor QIU Ming-yi’s experience in treating diseases using scutellaria and coptis.The first use of scutellaria and coptis is the use of bitter lowering qi and recuperating spleen and stomach to treat abdominal distention;the second use is the use of scutellaria and coptis to clearing heat and dampness and strengthening intestines to treat diarrhea;the third use is the use of scutellaria and coptis to connect the heart and kidney,regulate fire and benefit yin in treating insomnia;the combined use of scutellaria and coptis to clear gallbladder heat,dry dampness,dredge qi and phlegm to treat the evil of phlegm as the fouth function;the fifth meaning is to purge fire to strengthen yin and reduce yin fire to treat night sweats;the sixth purpose is to treat furuncle swelling by clearing the heat evil of triple energizer,drying dampness and detoxification;using it to reconcile the nature of the medicine,and supervise warm medicine to replenish the spleen is listed as the seventh use of scutellaria and coptis.
