调心滚子轴承外圈周向断裂失效分析

摘　　要：针对某调心滚子轴承在使用过程中外圈沿圆周方向断裂的问题,采用化学成分分析、金相组织检验及洛氏硬度检验等技术对外圈断裂原因进行了分析。结果表明:该调心滚子轴承外圈沿圆周方向断裂的根本原因是热处理过程中产生的淬火裂纹。在产品加工过程中应严格执行锻造工艺和热处理工艺,避免产生不合格组织和淬火裂纹。A outer ring of self-aligning roller bearing fractured along circumference in use.The causes of outer ring fracture were determined by means of chemical composition analysis,metallographic structure examination and Rockwell hardness inspection.The results showed that the primary cause of outer ring fracture along circumference was the quenching cracks generated in heat treatment.Therefore the forging process and the heat treatment process should be strictly enforced during bearing manufacturing to avoid unqualified micro-structure and quenching cracks.
