摘　　要：谷子(粟)具有耐瘠、耐旱、抗逆、节水的特点,含有丰富的蛋白质、脂肪、维生素和有益健康的活性物质,是环境友好型和营养保健型作物,适合作为食物和饲料。谷子品种很多,珍珠粟、张杂谷和手指粟是动物生产中应用较多的3个品种。谷子籽实可以作为能量饲料,能够提高动物生产性能、营养物质消化率、畜产品品质、机体抗氧化能力。文章综述了谷子作为能量饲料代替玉米在畜牧生产中的应用,以期为谷子的进一步开发利用提供参考。Millet(Setaria italica)has the characteristics of barren resistance,drought tolerance,stress resistance and water saving,is rich in protein,fat,vitamins and healthful functional active substances,and is an environment-friendly and health-care nutrition crop,which can be used as food and feed.There are many varieties of millet.Pearl millet,Zhangzagu and finger millet are more used in animal production.Millet seeds can be used as energy feed for animals,the production performance and nutrient metabolism rate are raised,product quality and the body's antioxidant capacity are improved.The article summarizes the application of millet as energy feed instead of corn in livestock production,to provide a reference for the further development and utilization of millet.
