摘　　要：民国时期留美图书馆学人大多有过在美国各东亚图书馆从事馆藏建设、分类编目及参考咨询工作的经历,他们将中国传统的版本、目录学知识与美国现代图书馆学技术相融合,为美国汉学研究提供了保障和治学门径。民国时期留美图书馆学人与美国汉学家形成了知识共同体,考察二者的关系,对于汉学和图书馆学具有知识史和学术史的意义。During the period of the Republic of China,most of the librarians who studied in the United States had engaged in collection construction,cataloguing and reference consulting work in East Asian libraries in the United States.They integrated the traditional Chinese bibliography knowledge with the American modern library science technology,supporting and directing bibliography path for sinology study in the United States.Librarians with American training experience in the Republic of China and sinologist in the United States formed a knowledge community.The study of the relationship between the two has the significance of knowledge history and academic history for sinology and library science.
