摘 要:传统译论认为译者是原文的奴仆,忠实是评判译文标准的根本准绳,完全抹杀了译者的主体性。原型-模型翻译理论将原文和译文分别视为原型和模型,翻译过程理解为模拟过程,译者作为模拟主体,选择适当的原型进行模拟。从原型-模型翻译理论视角出发,以梁启超译的The Isles of Greece为例,分析在模拟过程中译者作为模拟主体在气质模拟、改造模拟、定型模拟三个模拟阶段所体现出的自身人格意识及创造意识,通过对原文(原型)的选择、阐释及再创造,使其通过译文(模型)得以发展传承,在异域文化语境中重获新生,从而达到原模共轭相生的和谐状态。Traditional translation theory believes that the translator is a slave to the original text,and faithfulness is the fundamental criterion for judging the translated text,completely obliterating the subjectivity of the translator.Prototype-model translation theory perceives the original text and the translated text as prototype and model respectively,the translation process as a simulation process in which the translator as the main body of the simulation will choose the appropriate prototype to make simulation.From the perspective of prototype-model translation theory,taking The Isles of Greece translated by Liang Qichao as an example,the paper analyzes the translator’s personality consciousness and creativity embodied in the three simulation stages including temperament simulation,transformation simulation and stereotyping simulation.And through the selection,interpretation and recreation of the original text(prototype),the translator makes it to be developed and inherited through the translated text(model),and reborn in the exotic cultural context,achieving the harmonious coexistence of prototype with model.
